It is beginning to look alot like Christmas at Delamere Station House and we can't wait to spoil you with Christmas activities and events for everyone to enjoy.
Festivities begin on Saturday, November 22nd when you can indulge in Festive fun inside our Christmas Tavern.
Our locally grown Christmas tree sales start on Sat 22nd Nov and continue till Monday 22nd December.
Come along and visit our Christmas Santa’s Grotto, where your child can sit with Santa Claus, and let him know whats on their Christmas list or sit in our grotto listening to Yuletide tales with our professional storyteller, Helen Stewart.
NEW for 2025 we are hosting a ‘ Make Reindeer Food, write Santa Claus a letter and meet Santa Claus workshop for children’

For all you dog lovers and owners, this year we have collaborated with The Canine Consultant Team who will be leading a Christmas dog walk in Delamere Forest followed by a meet and greet Santa Paws, where your little doggies get to woof at Santa Claus himself and will also receive a bauble of doggy treats.
We are excited to announce we are offering 2 Christmas market dates where you can purchase a little gift from our Sunday Christmas market and relax afterwards and enjoy maybe a hot chocolate or mulled wine and hot roasted chestnuts with friend or your doggy under the Christmas marquee.

Christmas Tree Sales
Our Christmas tree sales start on Sat 22nd Nov and continue till Monday 22nd December.
Each year we proudly display a wide range of locally grown Christmas trees for sale, keeping that family tradition alive that so many families have enjoyed for many years.
We have the follow species of Christmas trees in stock…..
Nordmann Fir
(Abies nordmanniana): Known for its dark green needles and excellent needle retention.
Fraser Fir
(Abies fraseri): Features a good pine fragrance and strong branches that hold ornaments well.
Noble Fir
(Abies procera): Known for its rounded needles, good needle retention, and citrus-like fragrance.
Norway Spruce
(Picea abies): A traditional tree with a rich scent but tends to drop needles quickly.
Lodgepole Pine:
(Pinus contorta): Features long, lush green needles and upright branches.
What’s on in our Christmas Tavern in 2025
This year we have something special to show you inside our Christmas tavern.
Our Christmas tavern will be open from Sunday 23 rd November where we launch our 1st Christmas foodie market, a space for you to come and purchase foodie gifts and treats.
A week later we will be hosting our 2nd Christmas gift and craft market where you can come and enjoy browsing our stalls looking for the perfect little gift for a loved one.
On 1st December our Christmas Tavern will be transformed into Santa’s Grotto where all things festive begin.
New for 2025: Santa’s Workshop Experience!
Bring your child and enjoy making reindeer food, writing a letter to Santa Claus, and meet Santa.
Your child will be greeted by one of our naughty elves who will take you to your place at our Christmas table where as a group (up to 15 children and 15 adults.1 adult must supervise 1 child) our elves will show you how to create a bag of reindeer food for all of Santa clauses reindeer’s.
Our professional creative writer elf will guide the group in writing their own letter for Santa Claus. THEN, your child will meet Santa Claus and receive a baby Christmas tree and sweet treat to take home.
Santa’s Workshop Experience available on Sunday 7 th December 1-1.40pm, 2- 2.40pm

This workshop is also available for school groups of up to 20 children and 8 teaching staff in one workshop. We have various dates available so book your school Christmas trip from 3rd December through to 15th December.

Santa`s Grotto
Santa Claus in Delamere
Let Santa Claus make your child`s Christmas special this year. It’s their opportunity to tell him what they would like on Christmas day. All children will receive a baby Christmas tree to plant in a pot or in the garden and the chance to speak with Santa Claus.
Each family or group can look forward to this festive experience meeting Santa in his grotto. Visits must be booked in advance with up to 3 children per time slot allowed and when making your booking you will choose your time slot.
These time slots must be adhered to. Please check your tickets for time slots. Please Note: Santa’s Grotto tickets must be obtained for each child in a group that wishes to see Santa but accompanying adults don’t need to obtain tickets.

Santa Paws Walk
We have collaborated with The Canine Consultant Team and are su’paw’excited to offer this Christmas walk that can be enjoyed with your doggies.
Join us on Saturday 6 th December 09.30 -11.00am for a Christmas dog walk in Delamere Forest with. This gentle walk 4km will take you through parts of the forest that are a little quieter, allowing everyone to chat and meet other people and to share in the Christmas cheer. Once back at Delamere Station House your doggie friends will enjoy a meet and greet with Santa Paws. Dogs will get a chance to meet Santa Claus, give him a little woof and receive a bauble filled with doggy treats.
We do require all dogs to be on a lead at all times, that owners clean up any doggy mess, and that your dog is comfortable and happy around other dogs and in a large group.
This is the perfect way to kick off the festive holiday season with your four-legged companions.

Meet Santa Paws Experience
Come join us on at Delamere Station House for a festive event filled with holiday cheer and furry friends. Bring your pet dog along to visit Santa Paws himself!
Your dog will have a little conversation with Santa Claus himself, then receive a little festive bauable full of doggy treats (supplied by Kingsley Feeds). There will be the chance for you to take as many pictures as you like of Santa and your dog.
Don't miss out on this paw-some event in the heart of Delamere Forest. It's the perfect way to kick off the festive holiday season with your four-legged companions. See you there!
£1 from every ticket will go towards the Dogs Trust Charity

Yuletide Tales with our Professional Story Teller, Helen Stewart
Allow our professional storyteller to take your child on an enchanting Christmas journey . Gather in our Christmas grotto and relax into our haybales with your child and listen to the storytelling, allowing Helen to lead you all on a magical journey.
Listen to some of these festive stories such as, How the Tsar eats his Christmas puddings, How to get Baby Jesus off to sleep,How a Polar Bear made the king of Norway laugh,Who was the camel that carried the gifts to the stable, And many more heart-warming Tales.
No book, no script, just the Storyteller and her audience
Helen will enthrall and entertain you with Tales from all over the world.
Our Christmas grotto is small and so we will be holding 2 sittings every hour. When making your booking please choose your time slot and arrive 10 minutes early. Children must be accompanied by 1 adult at all times. Ticket costs are the same for adult and children.
After the storytelling your child will receive a baby Christmas tree for them to plant into a pot for their bedroom and then plant outside once Christmas is over. #sustainablechristmasgift

Visit our magical Christmas Sunday markets inside our Christmas marquee on Sunday 23rd November AND Sunday 30th November from 10am to 3.00pm.
Why not sup a mulled wine, and indulge in a BBQ hotdog, or a bag of roasted chestnuts while browsing the Christmas Markets.

Enjoy sampling a foodie delight, or purchasing a foodie gift for a loved one, this Christmas foodie stall is set to have a foodie gift you LOVE.
Do you run a small independent foody business selling Christmas themed treats? We have 2 stalls available for hire. (TBC)
Sunday 30th November, Christmas Arts and Crafts Markets 10.00-15.00
With a range of stalls from doggy gifts to candles, from Christmas gift boxes to Christmas tree decorations, from Christmas ceramics to Childrens Christmas books, there will be the most treasured Christmas gift awaiting you.
We have invited small local businesses to showcase what they offer. We currently have 1 stall available to hire for any local business that maybe interested.
